The quiet World Heritage Site, then a lodge table with a view

Overview
Khami was the capital that came after Great Zimbabwe — seat of the Torwa state, its terraced dry-stone walls stepped into a granite ridge above the Khami River, twenty minutes from Bulawayo and somehow still empty of crowds. This private tour gives the ruins the half day they deserve: a properly-paced walk through the Hill Complex and terraces with a heritage guide, site admission included, no hidden fees at the gate. Then, instead of turning straight back to town, lunch at the wilderness lodge nearby — a two-course table with the bush around you and time to enjoy the setting before the return transfer. It is deliberately not pitched as a safari; it is the best of Khami plus the best lunch within reach of it. Five and a half to six hours door to door.

Pickup from your Bulawayo hotel. Around two hours at Khami with your heritage guide — the Hill Complex, the terraced walls, the river below. A short drive to the lodge for the two-course lunch and time on the deck. Return to Bulawayo by early-to-mid afternoon.

If you cancel between 24 and 48 hours before departure, a 50% cancellation charge applies.
