This policy explains how ZimTravellers collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information when you use our website, contact us, or book a travel experience. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Norwegian Personal Data Act, and other applicable law.

Contact information — name, email, phone, country — when you enquire, subscribe or message us on WhatsApp.
Travel preferences — dates, party size, budget range, accommodation preferences, special requirements — when you complete a booking enquiry.
Technical data — IP address, browser, device, pages visited — collected automatically via cookies and analytics.
Communication records — correspondence with our team by email or WhatsApp.
Payment data — processed securely by third-party payment providers; we do not store card or banking details on our servers.

5. Third-party services

We use a small number of processors to run our service: website hosting, Google Analytics 4 (anonymised analytics), WhatsApp (guest communication) and email delivery. Each processes data under its own safeguards and our instructions.

6. Data retention

Enquiry and booking records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the service and meet legal (including tax) obligations. Marketing consent lapses after 36 months without re-consent; you can withdraw it at any time.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; restriction or objection to processing; and portability. Write to us at the addresses above — we respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, or with Datatilsynet in Norway.

8. Children

This website is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Updates are posted on this page with a revised date.
