Bumi Hills sits on an escarpment above the southern shore of Lake Kariba, looking north over the water towards the Matusadona shoreline. It is one of the few places in Zimbabwe where a safari runs on the water as naturally as on land: elephant come down to drink among the drowned trees, the fishing is serious if you want it, and the sunsets over the inland sea are the reason most people remember the place.

Open year-round. Reached by light aircraft from Victoria Falls, Harare or Mana Pools.
