Overview
One day, properly paced, covering what makes Matabeleland's capital and its five-hundred-year-old predecessor worth the trip. The morning is Bulawayo: a city orientation and one museum done well — the Railway Museum or the Natural History Museum, chosen at booking, never both crammed in. Lunch follows, then the afternoon belongs to Khami: two unhurried hours in the terraced ruins of the Torwa capital with a heritage guide, site admission included. Seven and a half to eight hours door to door, private vehicle throughout. The itinerary is deliberately not crowded — you will walk the places that matter rather than watch them pass the window. From $135 per person for four or more travellers; $155 per person for two to three; solo rate on request.

The 25-minute drive west to Khami. Two hours in the Hill Complex and terraces with your heritage guide — the story of the Torwa state, told on its own ground. Back at your hotel by late afternoon.

- Cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time to receive a refund of all recoverable amounts.
- If you cancel between 24 and 48 hours before departure, a 50% cancellation charge applies.
- Cancellations received less than 24 hours before departure, late arrivals that prevent the tour from operating, and no-shows are non-refundable.
- Any third-party cost that is non-refundable — such as a specially arranged host, private venue, meal, ticket or permit — will be identified before payment and remains non-refundable once committed.
- Changes are subject to availability. A change in group size may require the tour to be repriced.
