Day 1

Arrive in Bulawayo - Conservation Briefing

Welcome to Zimbabwe. Settle into your accommodation in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe's second-largest city with rich colonial heritage. Visit Khami Lodge for a conservation orientation, meeting your guides and learning about the conservation initiatives you'll support over the next five days. Evening welcome dinner with expert guides.

Day 2

Matobo Hills - Rhino & Anti-Poaching Heroes

Journey into the sacred granite hills where endangered black rhinos roam. Experience guided rhino tracking on foot, learning tracking skills from rangers who work daily to protect these magnificent creatures. Visit the anti-poaching unit headquarters to understand conservation frontline work. Afternoon with local artisans showcasing Ndebele culture and traditional crafts.

Day 3

Hwange Transfer - Painted Dog & Community Projects

Drive northwest into Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe's largest game reserve. Visit the Painted Dog Conservation project, where dedicated researchers protect Africa's most endangered carnivore. Learn about community borehole initiatives that bring water to remote villages while reducing human-wildlife conflict. Game drive spotting elephant, buffalo, and predators.

Day 4

Victoria Falls - Community & Sustainable Tourism

Arrive at the thundering Victoria Falls, one of the world's seven natural wonders. Visit local villages benefiting from sustainable tourism, understanding how your presence supports education and healthcare. Day 5

Departure - Impact & Reflection
